Resumen
Las canciones del fine amor representan algo más que una forma poética para el pensamiento occidental, ponen en marcha la idea del amor como principio y fin, como sentido de la vida. Idea que surge de un fondo cultural fundamentalmente occidental y cristiano. El amor no se entiende como relación platónica, sino total y real y desde luego alegre, en contra de lo que a menudo se cree. El unicornio es símbolo de este amor en un Occidente en proceso de cristianización y reelaboración simbólica.

Abstract
The songs of fine love represent something more than a poetic form for Western thought, they set in motion the idea of love as a beginning and an end, as a meaning of life. Idea that arises from a fundamentally Western and Christian cultural background. Love is not understood as a platonic relationship, but total and real and of course joyful, contrary to what is often believed. The unicorn is a symbol of this love in a West in the process of Christianization and symbolic reworking.
