Evil and Reparation
Main Article Content
Abstract
The recognition and aversion that we feel towards evil predispose us to the restoration and renewal of good. And even if the hope in our reparative capacities is not extinguished but is instead cultivated, guilt and despair do not mark the end point of our relationship to the things of the world. If the concept of evil indicates the loss or destruction of good, then, going through evil means going through this loss or destruction. In order to be able to understand the meaning of reparation of the good, it is therefore indispensable to understand how the loss of the good must be passed through, so that, at the end of its crossing, it is possible to reach a renewed good.
