Abstract
Benedict XVI in the encyclical “God is Love” (n.26) remembers the objection that the Marxist thought opposes to the exercise of the social charity by the Church: the charity is unnecessary and until detrimental, if it is fulfilled justice. Donoso Cortés already knew this objection. As opposed to the utopia of “socialist paradise” (Proudhon) founded on Justice, opposes “utopia of N. S. Jesus Christ” founded on the charity. The A. studies the subject presenting/displaying to Donoso like “prophet of the Christian utopia of the civilization of the love”. This subject is very important to the pastoral of the present Church (Benedict XVI). And it is already important to the social political thought of Donoso Cortés. And not studied, monographically, until now.
