Cauriensia is an annual journal of studies and research in the area of Ecclesiastical Sciences (humanities - history, philosophy, theology... - and Social Sciences - pedagogy, psychology, sociology...–) taught at the Theological Institute "San Pedro de Alcántara" of the diocese of Coria-Cáceres, affiliated to the Faculty of Theology San Isidoro of Seville. Thus, in addition to ecclesiastical themes of a universal nature, there are also those of the religious reality of the region of Extremadura, the diocesan life and the Institute itself, as the journal is its organ of cultural and scientific expression.

The journal is published by the Theological Institute of Cáceres, the University of Extremadura and the Francisco de Vitoria University. Editorial Sindéresis editorially manage it.
